L4060 Steering problem

I have a L4060 with 100 hours on the tractor. When I turn the steering wheel hard to the left and the wheels can't turn any more the steering wheel continues to turn. When I turn to the right wheels come to the stop and the steering wheel won't turn anymore. This I assume is not normal.

How much further can you turn the steering wheel, 1/4 turn, 1/2 turn, more?

Most likely you have a blown internal seal on the steering cylinder.

It could also be a bad steering controller but the odds of that are much lower on that being your problem.
