Folks - Well, it's here! It took me about 9 months of doing, but a brand new 0.9 hours Kubota L3902 HST is sitting behind the barn! I purchased it from Garton Tractor in Ukiah, CA (Northern Calif 101) and it is replacing an arthritic L245DT. Here's a pic of the tractor still on the trailer. Don't have a name yet, the wife doesn't like orange, so instead of "Yellow Peril" it may be "Orange Peril" - or Opie for short. Any suggestions? Things around the ranch have names....

It's got a CUPHOLDER and that NEW TRACTOR SCHMELLLLLL!

Congratulations, have fun! I can't help with the naming. I don't name tractors or vehicles. Good luck.

Sweet!

Cupholders are awesome and often under appreciated. I recall the salesman who sold me my L4701 pointing out it’s an economy tractor. I responded it has a cup holder, and power steering, and fenders, and a seat with a back, and it reverses without clutching, and I don’t have to monkey climb the 3 point to get to the operator station. That’s economy??? He suggested it’s all about perspective. 🤷‍♂️

Orange you glad you got it?
What kind of work are you planning to do with it?
It's has surplus power for everything I've done with mine. If I had a do-over, I would have got a 6' bush hog instead of the 5'. I've maxed out the bush hog without an engine speed drop. Check the bolt torques and fluid levels.

Congratulations man!

The color immediately reminded me of that show The Dukes of Hazzard. (I loved that show when I was a kid...but mostly for Daisy Duke...LOL)

Meet the 'General Lee'...

I had to take it to the dealer one time and when I walked in, I said "I'm here to pick up the General Lee." and without even asking for my name, he reached over and grabbed my paperwork. hahahah

Very good! The wife doesn't like orange, so she's kind of stuck. I don't think Dixie on the hood will sway her... But I did find this!
