L3901 transmission issue

I have a 2016 l3901 and I am having and issue with it going forward. Seems like there is an internal issue. Forward is very stiff and thought maybe a bad damper. Took it off and it still is acting the same. Has a high whine and will not go full speed in medium gear. Seems like it is almost stuck in low. I have checked fluid levels and switched from low to high and still acts the same. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Have you made sure the brakes are released?
Your describing the same sounds I had. Released the brake and everything fine.

Sounds like brakes are stuck.

Have you checked the level of the hydraulic fluid?
When was the last fluid / filter change?

Sounds like brakes are stuck.

Easy to check - stop on a small incline and depress the clutch.
