Another valuation question if allowed. I wasn't sure where to post this. L3901 with bucket, includes 5 foot tiller (landpride I think) with about 10 hours usage, 5 foot Woods finish mower. Older 2 bottom Ford plow, older 5 foot 2 row disc, older box grader, older grader blade. The tractor has 250 hours on it and I did the 400 hour service at about 210 hours. I am located in Southern Indiana. I have a small piece of recreational property which I am selling and kinda in a catch 22 situation. I don't want to sell the property first as I don't have a place to store the tractor, and if I sell the tractor first, it will be harder to keep the property maintained. Thanks for your input!

Why not sell the tractor with the property? Buyer might need a tractor. Some of the implements may sell better separately. Good luck.

I would consider adjusting the price of the property to include the tractor and implements. Very possible the buyer would want it. If not, closing usually takes a month or so after accepted contract. That should give you the time you need to find a buyer for the tractor and do minimum maintenance duties to the land.

Implements often attract better value sold separately - unless the buyer really wants them they become "thrown in for same price".

Depends how much you want it gone on a specific date v's want to get the best price. If you want the best price, then sell the land, then list the tractor, and work out where to store it (neighbours or wherever) until sold.

If you want it gone then:
- Offer it to the buyer of the land at a fair price. He'll need the exact implements you have.
- If no taker, then ask a dealer what they'd buy it for
- List it once the land is sold, and, do it as a deadline auction, set the reserve at whatever the dealer offered, take whatever price you have on the day it closes, if no bid higher than reserve, sell it to the dealer
- List all the implements separately (not the loader obviously and maybe the finish mower with it as well - people always want them). Again, list as an auction with the reserve set at whatever you can get as an offer from the dealer, or from someone who'll give you cash money for a bargain
