New member here. I have a L3830 (HST) and I have noticed over the past year that it seems slower and has less power than usual. I do not believe it to be an engine issue (runs perfect) and am convinced it is something in the HST.

I remember reading somewhere that other people experiencing the same issue and after searching and searching can't find what I have read. It was especially noticeable yesterday when plowing the snow (I love New England snowstorms). The machine struggled mightily where 2 years ago I would not have any trouble at all.

(for what it's worth, I typically run the machine in the MED range. Fluids are are recently changed and up to the appropriate levels)

Any advice would be appreciated.

There could be several things going on, like simply your clutch is out of adjustment and it's slipping.
I'll email you a link to a WSM download that has troubleshooting steps in it, that should get you going on the right track. ;)
