Have had to move snow at night a couple times this year and decided that it was time for a light upgrade. Got some great ideas from others that have posted their projects.

Mounted 4 LED's, on a plate I fabricated to mounted on the bottom side of the ROPS. Middle two are pointed over hood of tractor, outer two are angled left and right. I relocated the rear Kubota light from the left ROPS post to the middle of the new mount. The Kubota light is really weak compared to the LED's, Hmmmm might be ordering another LED. :D

In these pictures the stock front lights are not on, in fact when I turned them on I couldn't tell any difference.

I'm working on making a switch box that will be mounted rear of the range selector left of the seat. Three rocker switches, one for the rear, one for the two middle forward facing lights and one for the two outside lights that point left and right. Will post pictures when I get that done.

Thanks again for everyone that has shared their projects@

Great job. I know I love my LED light bar I put on my rig. Makes a world of difference when plowing.

I have 4 of those same LEDs on mine - make a hell of difference - and the factory lights on the front ..............well, are pale in comparison! ;)

Finally got to spend some time in the shop to finish up this project. I think the location will work out pretty well.
excellent work - very clean and neat! This summer I am going to do a better job of using a better switch than the original one that I "threw" on!:D

I am looking at adding 2 36watt LED floods to my ROPs what is the best way to tie these in to the electrical system?
Even at the low amp draw - the best thing is to place it on another circuit entirely.

This is not very expensive and can be found at your local advance auto or other auto parts place.

A fuse box - about $15 - a large piece of 10g or 8g wire to the battery and then run a few relays for different circuits, that way your switch does not have to carry the current of the lights, the relay does. Relays you can found there too along with a nice illuminating switch!:)

NS Kubota - These are Tuff LED brand. Link to Amazon below. These things put out so much light that 2 would have probably been enough if I was only concerned about straight ahead. Since I do mow some at night having the two outside lights pointed left and right is nice when turning.

Koja - thanks, I'm somewhat anal when it comes to wiring and stuff being neat. Nice little project for an excuse to stay in the heated shop on those cold winter weekends.
