Noticed my oil inlet cap is missing after I noticed a little oil on the shop floor. My guess lost it clearing land. I called my local dealer they have a part on order but really afraid they ordered the hydraulic oil cap. Called and the parts guy was for sure having a bad day not very friendly never pick up the phone etc. So now I want just order online. I ordered this part. https://www.amazon.com/Kubota-Fille...6&psc=1&mcid=3b640a69ef5a3c5f9e2a415c27cd54bb

Searched google and found this part. It is only $7. But the title doesn't say l3800. I should get it on April 26th. So is this the right part? Why is this such a challenge for a simple oil cap? Thanks for the help.

If you're talking about the hydraulic oil filler cap, a Kubota "Plug" 38240-21410, Messicks has the Kubota part. The O-ring is 04817-50300, ordered separately.

If it is the engine oil fill plug that you want, what you ordered is not correct. Your engine has a push-in plug, part number 1J860-33140.
It is located below the injection pump on the RH side of the engine.
