L3540 Cruise Control

Hi guys,

I have had my L3540 for about 4 yrs now and I went to use the cruise control and it doesn't work, I don't have a Shop repair manual.

Can someone tell me where to start checking? Does it have a fuse?

What exactly is it doing? I assume it's the cruise with the dash button.
Throttle has to be set manually. Cruise controls hydrostatic only

I assume so, but.....Did you try to rev the engine, and then turn on the cruise?

Yea I've tried about everything, throttle at full, push the cruise lever to full on or partial, I get the error code for cruise but I'm not familiar enough with how the cruise works to know where to start.

My manual ( I have the same tractor, HST) states it wont work with the brakes depressed or in reverse, and if you disengage it doing either you have to reset it all the way back again to the off position to reset the control.Or if you stand up, disengaging operator presence it wont work either.

If it throws an error code 83 , the sensor for cruise control lever is in trouble. Contact your Kubota dealer.
