L345dt need help big time!

Hello, name is ray, new to this site, thought I'd give it a shot, well here goes!
Bought a L345dt about 6 months ago, it was sitting in the woods for a while, dont know how long? But save able, drug it home and started working on it, didnt try to start it, restored most of the tractor, rotted panels. Tired, hoses,
List go's on, so now I'm trying to get it running! And it fighting me every step of the way, changed all fluids, new battery, hoses, rad, filters, lines, lift pump,
So, doesn't want to start, tried all most everything! Bled lines to injectors, but seems like little pressure! So I pulled the injection pump and found it was all rusted up, I cleaned and cleaned, looking new, even installed new rack sleeves
And rack pin, missing teeth, went back together good, installed back in motor w the shims! Reprimed/bled, and still nothing!!! Spin it over! Fast. And all so use valve decompressor! No smoke! Pulled injectors! And cleaned, not to bad!
Reinstalled, bled again, nothing, it has compression! Will all most run spraying wd40 in intake! Even new glow plugs! So. I'm running out of ideas!! Any body please help! Timing???? Pump bad, even tried elec pump, bypass lift pump, nothing, just leaked diesel inside motor! To much Clearance in pump???? To send pump out to check is half cost of new pump! Pop test injectors??? So if you can help! I thank you very much!!

what kinda compression did you get? Numbers?
sounds like you are on top of it however...

Have you checked the compression. A vary common problem with these older tractors is sucking dirt .You may look inside the intake manifold for dirt. It dose not take much dirt to eat up the piston rings. Have you checked the valve clearance. Something else to check is the adjustment of the compression release. If it is out of adjustment it can hold the valves open and will not start.

First check engine compression, if in specs, get injection pump tested (betting it needs rebuilt), get injectors tested (and probably rebuilt).

I'll chime in on doing a compression test too. It really needs 250 psi or more to fire. And it needs to fire on 2 or 3 to keep going. Harbor tool has a cheap ($40) tester that will give you an idea. If these engines sit with a bit of water in the cylinders the rings get stuck in their grooves and compression is too low. Sometimes a set of new standard rings and honing will smooth it up enough to run (if smokey). It's worth doing to see what you have before diving deep with a rebore and oversize pistons & rings. Better to spend only $250 finding out if the tractor is worth bringing back.
