l3400d intermittent start run

ok i replaced seat switch no luck replaced fuel sol no luck turn key if it clicks once it will start twice no start hot cold doesn't matter i even replaced fuses at wits end run excellent when it runs no spitter or sput it clicks then shuts down

Have you run a continuity test on the ignition switch? I tested and replaced on my Toro Groundsmaster 322D with similar symptoms.

just happened last week no ryme or reason spending a lot of $maybe time to go green a lot of expert mechanics at the dealer not !!as they guaranteed the fuel sol. to take care oh and its electrical so no return

Go get you a green one. Then when it dies, you'll cuss that one too.

The L3400 is dirt simple. The new stuff ain't.

If it doesn't crank, check the neutral switch and PTO switch and starter relay, if it cranks and doesn't start, check the fuel solenoid relay and connections. Also check the key switch connections, some models are more susceptible to failing key switches as well, not sure about yours.

Bad Switch just replace it might get it to work spray with w40 or a good switch lub
