Pre 2008 l3400 with front loader bucket and pto and 3 point hitch. The rear wheels are always running and I have the option of having the front wheels powered.

I need to find the hydraulic pump and filter. Im pretty sure it's frozen or sucking air somehow. It happened once years ago.

My father tells me to look for a rubber drain hose. But that leads me to a rubber hose near the front axle and the diesel fuel cup.

Official kubota manual makes it appear to be lo ated underneath the deck under the brake pedals.

But kubota text connected to the very rear of the engine.

I just need am actual PHOTO or clear diagram that shows location. Thanks

The hydrsulic pump on most Kubota tractors is mounted on the upper right side of the engine. Its a standard gear pump with a very recognizable shape and size. Based on your post I suggest you enlist the aid of someone better versed in hydraulics.

Thats usable,
I think the WSM on kubotabooks is for a Scottish version gear transmission. The location will be the same, but if you have a hydrostatic transmission you may have a duplex pump or something else. You may have more than one filter.

Is your tractor HST? Do the loader and 3ph work correctly?

At moment nothing hydraulic is working. When I raise the enginecrpm with the handle past 1,000 I get a raspy whiney sound that the last actual tractor repair person said was air or frozen moisture in the pump
