Has any one found or made floormats for an L3400? I just bought a new 3400 a couple weeks ago and I can already see the need for floormats, the paint doesn't seem as though it's going to hold up long. I've done some searching and can't find a thing listed specifically for the L3400. Cutting a universal style set to fit may be my only option. Any suggestions?

I understand your concern about the paint. My L 3000 doesn't have anything to protect the paint on the floorboard either.
This pic is of the step I built for mine but you can see a little bit of the floor at the top. If it makes you feel any better , the tractor is a 2000 model and I have never repainted it.
I always try to wash the dirt that collects so it doesn't get ground around like sand paper. It seems to help with the paint.

I have a L4200DT, It came with a rubber floor mat, I think the model year was 1994, it has rubber pins that go through the metal deck and hold it in place. I am pleased with it, it has held up well.

One option is to buy a gallon of Herculiner roll on bed liner and custome make a floor mat that way. It goes for under 100 bucks and rolls on just like paint.
