L3301 error code P2294 common fuel rail sensor replacement

I joined the forum to address an issue that may help others. I struggled with the P2294 error code and the related advice to replace the common fuel rail as a cure. As you are probably aware, Kubota does not sell the common rail sensor separately. It comes with the rail assembly with a $1500+ price tag (plus installation). Kubota says the limit sensor (part of the rail) must be replaced also and that is why they do not offer separate parts.
I purchased a supply pump and suction control valve along with the rail sensor to repair my L3301. Oregon Fuel Injection has great prices on Bosch parts. For example, the SCV was $130 compared to $600-800 from Kubota.
The pressure sensor part number is 0281006396 and widely available from $40-90.00. Just remove the dash, tank and tank pan. Then disconnect the sensor pigtail and use a 27 mm deep socket to remove and replace the rail sensor pigtail.
The normal disclaimer: while this worked for me and saved thousands of dollars, I can’t guarantee it would work for anyone else. Just some ideas to help you make an informed decision.

Hey mate, thank you so much for this. I'm near Beaudesert QLD AUS and found this using a deep dive by Grok AI. I can confirm this works on the V2403 engines found in Takeuchi TB257FR and the TL6R. Grok found the part from this post you wrote then I ordered it on a site called "Friday Parts" it cost $80AU instead of $2,500 (plus installation) for the rail assembly. I am very grateful you done the research and posted this. Thank you.
