I know I should have ordered it when I ordered the tractor but that's another story. I am looking for input on one. I like the sub frame mount. I think its better than having the hoe hanging on the 3 point. I have also been looking at the Woods and Bush Hog hoes also. They seem very nice with out the Kubota price tag. Has anyone used one of the other brands? What king of price should I expect for a Kubota or the Woods? Any other concerns with one? Plumbing needed?

Thanks

I'm a fan of woods equipment, its consistently well built. ;)

But Bush Hog is also good.

I would agree that a BH that is sub frame mounted is a much stronger and safer bet.

I've had a woods sub-frame mount and a Kubota 3pt mount. The woods was strong as far as the way it mounted but the rest was weak and I ended up breaking it all to pieces. The Kubota hoe was built like a tank but the 3pt mount sucked.

I would suggest looking for a used mini trackhoe instead of a BH attachment. I bought a 325 Bobcat and it will dig circles around a tractor mounted hoe.

I'm also looking for a backhoe attachment and agree that the sub frame looks like a better stronger means of attachment. I've found several 3 point backhoes for sale, just wondering if anyone has converted a 3 point to sub frame?

I am not sure. I found several 3 point but the sub frames around here are hard to find

Thanks
