New guy here. I bought my first tractor recently. The price was right and went for a L3300 with a Curtis cab, rear snowblower, and front blade primarily to battle the Wyoming snow. I’d like to use it in the summer too but it looks like the loader will be a giant pain to track down. As I see it, the LA 480 is my only option for this machine, correct? If so, I’ve got some serious hunting to do. Thanks!

LA480 or LA481 (that's even rarer).
You could also do quite a few aftermarket loaders

You could also check into Koyker loaders. They're well made and have some replacement parts available on line. I don't think they come in orange, though.

All the loaders of the LA480 vintage are pin-ons. It might be worth you wile to look for new aftermarket as everything now is quick attach, which is super nice if your back and forth between attachments. I run an older Woods myself and wish I had this feature.

Woods has QA adapters for most of there older loaders.
I'm cheap, I just made a SSQA for my Woods loader years ago.
Best thing I've ever done!

After watching this video… I found a man who made it for me …and it’s been a real, inexpensive pleasure to use. I leave the upper pins installed on all my attachments for even simpler operation:

The Kubota L2230A SSQA adapter fits on the LA480 loader. I actually use it mounted to the pin-on BL1767 quick attach since I have a mixture of SSQA and pin-on accessories.
The BL1767 needs a slight modification to get it to work:
Those adapters sure do look nice. There are two items that bug me about them, and maybe I'm just nitpicking here. The first is they add weight which reduces loader capacity. The second and more concerning one is they place the lifting point further away from the machine. In my mind this causes a mechanical disadvantage, reduces lifting capacity, and would require more rear ballast to offset. Again, I might be worrying for nothing, but I do use my loader to lift logs that weigh very close to the loader capacity. I don't want to reduce lift capacity for the sake of convenience.
Wolfman, I'd be interested to see your custom fab job. This is the route I was thinking of going and like to get your input. I'm sure it would help the OP too if he purchases an older loader.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?
Washed at the tractor, mainly just got the big chunks of cow mud off. Took the mower off and put on my sprayer so I can start spraying fence rows and such. Liquid weedeater is so much faster than the real thing.
