l3200 won't start and sitting in hole

Hello, My Kubota l3200 won't start and I need to fix it where it sits. This tractor has always started and has lots of heart (when pushed) but it finally quit. I turned it off before lunch and after lunch nothing. It acts like it's one of the safeties, I checked and bypassed the seat safety wires. What's next to check?

If anybody knows some good posts to read just tell me, don't tell me to search because I already have. I'm new to forums and searching but I'm willing to read anything I have to to fix this tractor.

Is it gear driven or hydrostatic?

When you say it won't start....do you mean there is NOTHING when you turn the key?

IF so....are there any dash lights when turned to the 'on' position before cranking the engine?

Do you have headlights (indicating the battery is good)?

Hydrostatic and yes, it does nothing. I checked the battery it was 12.5 and all the fuses had power running through them. Despite that, the headlights are not on and the battery is giving off a strong acidic smell.

I'm going to pull the battery and charge that battery, it doesn't read like it's charging and I need to fix this problem before I go farther.

I feel like a fool but a happy fool. I charged the battery before I had it worked on just so it would have a strong charge during repairs. We tested the battery - 12.5v and all the fuses - power going through but when I went to work on it (week later) I smelled the battery smell and after you mentioned headlights I tried them and nada.

I'm sure glad it's running it was not in a good place for loading and towing and nobody in my neck of the woods makes house calls except john deere and they only work on green.

Purchase a new battery now, because you are going to be needing it before winter. Better to replace it on your schedule, rather than when it gives up the ghost when it is most inconvenient.

The battery was 100% warrantied.....a pleasant surprise,,....,,Kubota is back working
