Purchased my first kubota back in may. Yesterday I changed the engine oil. After completely draining and changing oil filter I put 1 gallon (4quarts). I then added 1 more quart. So 5 total. When I checked the dip stick the oil level was a little over the top hole. So I started the tractor ran it for about 10 seconds. Checked the level and it was exactly at the upper limit or hole.
The oil level was above this mark when it was delivered so I assume it had 6 quarts in it? Should I add another quart? Even though I am at the upper limit on the dipstick?
Thanks

I would just leave it if it's at the top hole on the dipstick. You definitely don't want to overfill it. Have you checked your manual for how much it should take? You could also call the dealer and ask them.

I purchased my new L3200DT in June. My dealer pinpointed two drain plugs for the engine oil. He stated that both had to be drained to properly drain the oil. I didn't read any details of, if you removed both oil drain plugs. If you didn't, this could be the reason it took less oil to refill to the proper level on the dipstick.
