L3130 Won't Turnover, Displays HST Neutral

Need help.... L3130 HST 4wd

I was driving the tractor when suddenly it just shut off. When I tried to restart it and it just beeped and displays "HST Neutral". I down loaded the 619 page service manual and went through the diagnosis on the display, No Error codes. I replaced the HST neutral switch today and still nothing, I bypassed the seat switch by using a jumper wire from "red to red" and nothing.

Any ideas, thoughts, etc.

Two topics in this post:

First, can you provide the link to the WSM download?

Second, it sounds like the safety switch on the clutch is telling you (dashboard) that the machine thinks it is in gear while trying to crank.

Try also double-checking the L-N-M-N-H selector stick and see if a linkage somehow changed and isn't set where it is showing to be.

Locate clutch safety switch and see if it is out of position and try jumpering around it to get a start.

You've got multiple safety switches interacting. You may need to jump directly to starter solenoid with battery power to get a start to get back to the barn to work on it. Be SAFE if you choose to do this. Begin the process by LOCKING the clutch with the J-hook before trying to start (note, the J-hook does not hold the clutch pedal far enough 'down' to activate the safety switch).

Please post back and advise your experiences so we may all learn.

I was able to download the L3130 WSM without any problem. I tried to look for the L3400 workshop manual on that website but could not get anywhere, all cz language. How did you find this L3130 WSM link? Thanks.

I hope you get her going. But this is why I despise all newer idiot proofed machines with 256 safety switches and $4000 in hippie emissions crap to go bad and suck power away from unit. Goodluck bud
