L3130 Range shifter

Hey guys I am having trouble getting my L3130 manual transmission into low range. When it is in HI it is sitting in the neutral position and I can***8217;t get it into low without taking the cover off. How and where can I adjust this to line things back up?

Something must be bent though! This shouldn't get out of adjustment.

Mine is l3130E and does not have the turnbuckle.

I don’t see anything that looks bent. It has been slowly getting worse over the last few years. I probably should have already tried to fix it.

Do you think the adjustment should be made on the lever? ( item #100 in your photo.
