L3130 Lift Arms

My L3130 tractors rear 3pt lift arms are two different lengths. The right one appears to be 3/4 inch longer. So all of my attachments are not square with my tractor. This can't be right? Any suggestions.

How do I know which one is the correct one.

Can you post a photo?
They should be the same length. Either they are mismatched, or do you have telescoping draft links which one isn't all the way back in place?

That is odd, take them off and compare the bends to make sure they are the same?
It looks like the distance from the sway bars to the latches are different, check that location of anything that looks like it's been altered.
Also give us the measurement from eye to eye.

Some L3130's have the extendable lift arms intended (and does) make hooking up implement(s) much easier.

Look on the top of your lift arms few inches back from the ball and see if you have a push-type trip lever that allows the last six inches of the lift arm (where the ball is) to slide in-and-out.

You may not realize you have this type lift arm and one side has been extended and not fully retracted.

After hooking up an implement you should notice both sides automatically retracting and locking into the 'short' position. If not happening and if you have this type lift-arm extension you need to determine why the one side is not fully retracting.

May call for a hammer and a block of wood and a good soaking in penetrating oil. Work it back and forth a few times. When functioning properly both sides should slide in and out (when the 'trigger' is manually actuated) with almost no effort---it's not spring-loaded, just a friction slide.

I had s similar issue with the telescopic lower links on my M9540(they look just like yours). You can remove the locking mechanism - cotter pins I believe - from the two pins holding the telescopic lower links in place, remove the actuating mechanism and clean all of the accumulated dirt/grease/grime from the notches in the lower link and everything will start to extend and retract as designed. After removing the lift arms it's clear that the tractor was assembled with two different length arms. I call a dealer and they quoited $258 for a new one so instead I've taken it to a shop so to have the long shortened.
