How many gallons of hyd. oil do i need to drain just to do a Filter Change ? Will save & reuse (Exp. $$ UDT OIL ) THANKS

about 10 if I remember right.

if you're just doing the filter, you can pull some vacuum on the filler cap and you won't lost much oil at all. Maybe not even enough to see on the sight glass.

The HST filter is pressure-fed so you will lose about a cup of oil plus what is in the filter. There is no need to drain any oil.
