L3130 front axel

Seal leaked. I drove tractor and it ground the axel and the wheel fell off. Now I have to replace the flange,axel and bearings
Did a bad seal and oil drained out cause the bearing and axel to fail or do i have another problem. I didn’t drive more then 1/2 mile with low gear oil

I had the same thing happen to my L3130, bought a used L3130 forgot to check front axle fluid, drove about 1/2 mile and the wheel fell off same as yours. Replaced everything by Kubota service center and everything fine now.

Seal might have leaked because the bearing was going bad, causing the axle and seal to no longer be coaxially aligned.

Curious how much ballast you use with the loader. It's very easy to overload the front axles without a significant amount of weight hanging off the back. This can be exaggerated if your machine has the 700 series FEL vs the smaller 500 series.

I have a bad leak between my front wheel drive bevel gear case and front gear case. I have removed everything and cannot separate the bevel gear case from the front gear case. It seems the bevel gear case tube extends into the front gear case where a bearing is on the tube. They start to...
