Hi guys, new to the forum and appreciate your help. My father is a dairy farmer who has a love passion for his old, completely worn out Kubota L305DT 4wd tractor. He does no maintenance and that is why the front 4wd hubs are completely shot. I mean gears, bearings and even one of the cases was eaten clear through because he allowed it to run out of oil. I pulled the drain plug on the actual front diff and got maybe a half pint out of it. In my opinion the front axle is probably a complete loss. (Certainly not cost effective to repair) Here is my question: I know someone with an L295 of the same era that has severe engine problems that we could pick up for parts. Will the L295 and L305DT front 4wd axles interchange? Are they the same? I'm talking about guts, feathers and all, just slide the complete other axle under the 305 and be done. Thanks for your responses!
