Put a new fuel shut off solenoid on, 2 relays and it still will not stop with the key? I have a wiring diagram and it shows 2 slow blow fuses, could somebody tell me where they are?

Thanks BK

Quit replacing parts and download the WSM from Kubotabooks. Then read the "engine key switch shut off system and diagnose the system" pg. 9M10-12 . The troubleshooting steps are on pg. 9S15-16

I have the work shop manual, it shows 2 slow blow fuses in that circuit, where are they located? The solenoid was replaced due to water in the rubber cover and not working, called Messick's and talked to a tech and said timer relay was bad, replaced still nothing, called again said it was the other relay, still will not shut off with the key.

As stated in the WSM there should be battery voltage at pin 4 all the time and battery voltage on pin 3 with the key on. Have you checked this? The only fuse that could cause this is the key off fuse in the fuse block as this would interrupt the circuit from the key switch to pin 3 on the timer relay. Testing as per the WSM would reveal this.

Look up by the radiator, or the left side above or to the rear of the alternator there might be a fuse up there, I know there is on my L3450 and they are very similar.

The fuse in red is the slow blow fuse by the starter. If that fails you will have no electric to the key and light switches. the machine will not start or run.

The fuse in green is the gauge fuse and if it fails you will not have gauges or idiot lights and the machine will not shut down.
The fuse in blue is for the shut down timer and if that fails the machine will not shut down.
Both the green and blue fuse are in the fuse block.

Well thank you, this clarifies my question, time to check the lines and see what's going on, maybe I have a bad new solenoid ? first on my list Saturday morning, I'll let you know what I find.

I'd do the checks ruger mentioned at the connector. Also make sure that the ground pin (number?) is indeed a good ground. Finally, check continuity from the fourth pin to the solenoid.

I found that the fuse holder block has issues, wiggle the fuses loose power, cleaned still acting up, I have it working I think I will leave it alone, tractor runs and works, so I pull the knob to shut down, I guess that's why it's there. Electrical is not my favorite trouble shooting.

Thanks BK

UPDATE: problem found and solved. it is the fuse holder block, bottom fuse does not make contact with terminal, bend fuse up a bit on left side and tractor shuts off with key!
