L3001DT hyd/trans fluid

First time poster. I purchased a very used L3001DT before I had even heard of grey market tractors. I have a couple of questions:
What fluid should I use when I drain and clean filter on the transmission? I’ve read use Kubota UDT and I’ve read use SAE 80. The cap on the transmission case reads SAE 30 but I’m thinking sometime along the way the original cap was replaced with an engine oul

Is the L3001DT similar to a Kubota L285, L295 or L345?

The L3001 would be similar to the L345;


I agree, that cap was probably swapped, I do not see a vent hole in that cap either.
If it is like my L1500, I used W90 Gear Oil.

The L345 manual calls for Shell Donax TD, which is a universal tractor fluid. Not 303.

Yes UDT will be fine
