Morning,
My clutch is not disengaging. I just rebuilt the engine (sleeves , pistons, rings , etc), so while I had the tractor apart I replaced the clutch. After putting it all back together it started and ran great but the clutch won't disengage. I broke it apart again and checked the throw out bearing and linkage. It all appears good. I am at a loss. Any ideas??

During your rebuild and before you put the clutch housing (bell housing) back on the motor, was it, outside, damp, wet, or overly humid?

The slightest bit of moisture will make the clutch disk rust to the pressure plate or flywheel in a quick hurry, like overnight, thus making it not disengage.

Is this a single clutch or dual clutch?

Did the new and old clutch plate match exactly?
Did you replace the pressure plate too?
Did you replace the throw out bearing?

No it was in my shop. I did not replace the pressure plate. The clutch plate spec out the same. I did not replace throw out bearings. I checked them when I broke it apart the second time and they seemed fine.

After I broke it apart the second time, I spec the clutch plate again to be sure. I checked the throwout bearing and linkage it appeared fine . The pressure plate I could not move, but am not sure how much pressure it takes to move it???

Why did you change the clutch plate?

Did you remove the throw out bearing holder?
Possibly reassembling it without the forks in the proper location?

Is the new clutch OEM & proper part number ?
