My L2900 recommends a 2-12" plow or 1-16" plow.my tractor has the 420/70-24 rear tires.what all plow moldbord sizes would work for tire size? Do tire widths determine for what size plows for furrows?

When I was younger and actually plowed with a tractor, we determined the plow size by the horsepower of the tractor. I do realize larger tires help with traction, but I don't think that will give you enough pull to go to a 2-14 plow if a 2-12 is recommended for your tractor.
