Having a lose of power issue when using a 5' Bushhog with my L2900. I can work for 2-3 hours and then no power to the point of shutting down. Able to shut down throttle, PTO, and get it to idle, but nurse it back to the barn......Fuel filter has been changed. Oil filter has been changed. Hydraulic Fluid is full. Temp Gauge reads normal.......Preping to flush radiator and do not see a Thermostat in the part diagram........Anything else I should look for, check, test?

Is the power returned after cooling down? I assume so because you are pursuing better cooling.

Check the front of the radiator area and see if there is a screen that is clogged with chaff, which is common when mowing. If so then clean it up and also clean the outside of the radiator

Algae or some other debris in the tank or lines.
Check fuel flow from the tank and beyond.

From what I've seen on here, and as others say up thread, intermittent issues like that are often fuel starvation, often caused by some sort of tank gunk. You can change the filters, blow the lines etc etc, and it can still recur randomly when stuff moves around in the tank, or more algae grows or whatever.

People commonly saying "I've done filters, cleaned lines, cleaned the tank, it's still happening." And then after another round of cleaning filters, lines and tank, they say "actually, there was a bit still in there, and the problem's now gone away."

Which sucks, because cleaning filters, lines and tanks is fiddly and annoying work, and having to do it multiple times is even worse. But it does seem to be the problem more often than not.

Cooling doesn't seem likely to be the issue if the temp gauge isn't showing high temps.
