Hi, I am looking to find replacement axle cases for the left and right front of my 2850. The case I am looking for is where the tie rod hooks in out by the wheel. It seems these are impossible to find. Any suggestions?

Matt, those parts should be easy to find from your dealer or online at Messicks. That is if you want to use new parts. What happened to cause them to need replacing?

2 problems. The toe rod hole is pretty worn out. The big issue is the previous owner never fixed the lower caps/plugs that hold the oil in. It was then used until it would not longer move. I bought it and braized the cast iron axle housing and replaced a bunch of bearings and seals. The ring gear was hitting the case. It is back on the road. I am not sure how long it will last so I would like to find replacements.

Sounds like you need to find a parts machine. If you have to go new, you might be able to buy the housing and reuse the internal parts that you replaced. I'm guessing that if you find them used, they will be a complete plug and play. Good luck.
