I don't have a schematic, but I'd check all the fuses and that power is available to them and past them.

Need more details on your machine as there are different wiring depending upon.......... Cab or not.

Please provide more history on what lead to the main switch being changed.
Some models use a power to stop fuel solenoid. There is a timer relay which, when you turn the key to OFF the relay powers the fuel solenoid for a few seconds to give the engine time to stop.
The only time you will see power at the fuel solenoid is during the few seconds when you have turned the key from ON to OFF.

Symptoms sound like the FUSIBLE LINK - in the wiring near the starter. When it gets corroded inside (or blown) it shuts off a lot of electrical equipment. It looks like this.
To test it, substitute a piece of house wire, made into a U-shaped jumper. Push it into the socket and see if things work again. If so, order a correct one to reinstate fuse protection. Its intent to to prevent electrical damage if a battery is installed backward.

To do any real electrical trouble shooting to need the wiring diagram.. curious, went to...
www.Kubotabooks.com, has the WSM for the L2800. If real close to your L2850, there's a wiring diagram in it.
Seems there are THREE slow blow fuses and a few normal one. A quick glance .. and I bet one of the slow blow fuses is open. main power is split into 3 sub sections so it's probably you could start/run the engine yet not have gauges or lights function.

The L2250, L2550, L2850 & L3250 were produced from 1985-1992. The L2800 came later 2004-2010.
