Hello all,
I have a L2800 with about 400 hours on it. Seems like its having fuel issues. I haven't been able to start it in about a month. At first I thought it was just the cold weather (it had been in the teens for a week or so). Now its in the 40's and still won't go. I'm thinking fuel pump. When I mowed last year in the fall, it would never really seem to rev up the way you want and would continually bog down. I have fuel in and out of the fuel filter (recently changed). However when I disconnected an injector there is no fuel there. There is a small pump (least it looks like a pump) with the part # 8f04 or 8fo4 on it. This has the fuel line connected to it right before it goes to the injectors. Is this the fuel pump? Last time my local dealer came out to service this thing, it cost me a bundle, so I'm learning as I go here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
