Last year I rented my tractor to a good friend, and he managed to burn the clutch good, I used it all winter pushing snow, and he had to barrow it again for ONE day to move some dirt to make a water barrier for a flood, and well, he totally burnt it out now.. I found parts to fix it, but I was thinking about selling him the tractor and all the aattachments.. It has 2000 hours on it, its a 1984 I have a backhoe, snowblower, box blade, cultivator, and grader blade for the three point, and a loader on the front... Any thoughts to whats it worth how it sits with a smoked clutch? It moves, but cant do any work....

Bad clutch is bad for resale. I bought a L295 from a dealer last year for $1500 because it had a bad clutch. Tractor was a little rough, but had a working loader.

If this was mine, I'd fix the clutch and keep on using it for another 2000 hours.

I'll prob end up buying the parts n fixing it, but still sell it.

I only used it to move snow last year n I can do the same with a blade on my pickup.

I have to agree with Vic on the Kubota ownership rules, However what is done is done and now you need to put a clutch in that bad boy, Time to call up your friend who burnt it out and tell him to get over there and lend a hand putting that new clutch in, And then let him know its for sale and that he should purchase it as it seems he uses it more than you did.:D
