Hello All,

I recently picked up a Kubota L260 and I'm in the process of changing all the fluids and I noticed that the injector pump has 2 dip sticks, one on the left and one on the right. I'm trying to determine what type of fluid is used in the pump and why there are two different dipsticks. The left side is a little milky so I know it has some moisture in it which is another reason why I want to change it. I only find a single drain plug on the bottom.

Parts and Service manuals are on the way. Just thought someone might know.

Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Here is the injector pump. You can see the two dipsticks, one on far left and one toward the middle. They are only about 2-1/2" - 3" long and made of black plastic with loops at the top for easier removal.

That is one odd model, that's why none of us could answer that question, but now we know.

Yes, it is somewhat of a different beast. I only paid $760 for it and it runs, drives and PTO/3point work too. 740 round trip to get it but I think it's still a good deal. Listed as Grey Market on OTT but I have been able to find the parts I need so far including a manifold. Poked the bottom out of the flange neck when scraping built up carbon out of it.

Been around trucks and equipment all my life and that's the first time I ever saw that! LOL. Thanks for showing us that.
