replaced the RPM hose attached to engine block and found it spins and hour meter is fully functional yet the needle for rpm doesn't move at all...I'm not sure if there are magnets that serve to engage needle or how/what this part is actually called, if it is replaceable or serviceable...the top silver cup portion does spin and increases as rpms are, however the silver portion connected to needle does not move at all.....thoughts and direction are truly appreciated

Some cables allow you to pull out the center section. If that's the case with yours you could clean and lubricate it for smoother operation.
If the cable spins going to the tachometer and it's spinning in the correct direction with no indication your tachometer unit itself may be bad. I do not know how Kubota implements the tachometer function. The cable could be spinning a small internal generator and the needle could be indicating the voltage it generates - the faster it spins the greater the voltage and the greater the deflection of the needle. Take that as a possibility, not the way it actually works. The tachometer can be replaced as an individual item - you need not replace the entire instrument cluster. I believe it's part # 31351-93760.
