I’m about to pick up a new l2501 with third function, grapple, loader. Everything is in stock. I haven’t priced a tractor since 2021, is it still normal for the price to be right around what the builder says on kubotas website? I thought maybe it would have relaxed a little bit I guess not.

My L2501 in 2021 was about the same as the builder. I don't know what is "normal" now, but my guess is the builder price is pretty close.

When I purchased my MX in December 2021, the price was a bit less but close to the online builder price. The dealer did throw in some small things to sweeten the deal: welded hooks on bucket, armrests on seat, liquid ballast in tires. IDK about current practices. But the salesman didn’t blink when I asked him to throw in those items to the deal, so ask about some small extras AFTER negotiating the final price.

Make sure you take all the discounts you can. I.E. mulitple attachments, or horses.

Yea. I guess I could have paid a little more and got the 2502. the l2501 is in stock and been around since 2014. By this point, should be pretty bullet proof.
That's probably never going to happen considering the L2501 is probably one of the most popular model of Kubota by sales.
Used but like brand new 2501’s are plentiful. Many sell them right away after seeing need heavier and more hp

Many times agreed. The L2501 is one of the most popular tractors in the USA and has fantastic resell value. That said, I don’t see very many pre-owned L2501’s and when I do, they aren’t cheap.

Would have been very happy to buy used at a fair price ( i.e. not "new"/full boat)
For me it was the "Goldilocks" choice and a SUPER tractor. My only regret is not doing it sooner!
Was talking to my salesman about the LX series 02 coming out and he threw out the L2501 used to be their best seller but now its the LX series. Anyway enjoy your new tractor.
yea I get the appeal of the lx. It certainly has more creature comforts. Side by side it’s very obvious the l01 is heavier built. I didn’t want a mid mount so they’re that too.
