The wiring for my safety switch on the B2650 is looped to always hold it down and stay plugged in ;) . It's Super handy when standing up to see what my forks are about to plow into.
Ditto. Here's my "fix".

Mine does the same. At times while mowing with my finish mower I will hop off to grab debris or whatnot and I found that it if I flip the seat up all the way it doesn’t kill the engine. I’m not recommending this but it works for me.

One of the very first things that I do after buying a new tractor is to short-out the OP switch.
Few years ago I found a way to disable the reverse shut off on my zero turn because I have to mow in reverse in a few places. I suppose I can disable the seat safety switch. Wish they would just give you a button. let the people choose haha.

Hi Nerwin,
Wish they would just give you a button. let the people choose haha.
What you could do is have a switch added in parallel to the seat switch. This way you could choose when you want it. If you want to avoid leaving it accidently in the disabled position you could use a push button with a relay and self holding via a contact. So safety is activated again every time you switch off the tractor. Another NC pushbutton could be added there to be able to enable/disable the safety switch on the fly. If you want I can draw you a wiring diagram.

When I got my (Micky-Mouse) "Tractor" (G1900) I first laughed about all those safety switches. But when I was driving it at full speed for the first time and turned the steering wheel quickly (4 wheel steering) I realised that it is fairly easy to be thrown off the seat and your tractor continuing the direction it was going until the fuel is out or until it hits an obstacle, whatever comes first. :)

So I decided to repair all the faulty and bridged safety switches and I would not disable them permanently.

Kind regards,
Hugo

On my L3302 if I stand up so no weight is on the seat and just
lightly tough the treadle to slowly inch forward it does not try to cut out, a little more on the treadle and it will cut out.
