Wow! That box is nice. Looks stout. Is it a 72"? That is exactly what I am looking for. Luckily, my good friend is an expert welder, so once it warms up, I am gonna trick the bucket, and hoe with hooks. Also interested in trying the pipe in the Loader for chain storage, and some kind of chainsaw mount. Really enjoying the suspension seat as well. Adjusted it up for my weight, and it really helps.

Without reading anything else in this thread, Massachusetts sucks. I lived there for 2 years and another 2 in New Hampshire. I ran away as quickly as I could.

Wow! And I thought this Forum was about Kubota's and being helpful and informative to Kubota owners.
Why would someone criticize where someone else lives? It certainly is not in the sprit of what I though this forum is about and not helpful at all

Both of my swing cylinder lower hoses were delivered loose or came loose on me and one actually blew off before I noticed any leakage. Maybe it was just my luck but I would check them for tightness.I wish that I would have.

I could be mistaken, but I am assuming the above comment was in reference to the OP stating that everything in Massachusetts was so much more expensive than elsewhere in the country.

Haha. I actually agree. It seems that anyone from this area develops a crusty crab like exterior I have come to appreciate. Mass has a lot of problems, but one thing that it does serve me well on is employment. I have never had any problems finding work, and my business is poised for some serious growth. It also provides access to the Atlantic, and I don't think I could ever move away from that. It is all in what you want out of your state I guess. Thanks lescarpentier! I plan on breaking out the torque wrench soon for the wheels, sub frame, and put a wrench on all the hoses and give them a nudge.

Tunaslayer glad you got your tractor. I also got mine this week. Still liking the smaller one for what I needed. It looks like you are doing a lot of what I want to do as well. I am looking into adding square or round metal behind top of FEL before adding hooks. One add I see is a shackle inside the bucket. I really love this idea. Keep posting pictures and as soon as this ice storm goes away I will start playing and posting too. Happy is the color Orange.

There is a guy on YouTube, Paul Short who is also on this forum (I forget his user name) that has a ton of useful information on Kubota"s. The Weld On Bucket Hook located inside the bucket was his suggestion. Paul stated that after operating heavy equipment for a living he has seen it all, including ropes, cables, and chains snapping under load and flying back at the operator. If the pulling point is inside the bucket then the bucket itself will likely act as a shield to protect the operator. Made sense to me and having it there is very useful.
In the attached picture the center hook I am talking about is not being used but the other weld on hooks I added clearly are.
