Hey all, I went into the dealer and walked out thinking I want the 2501 as The salesman said it will do everything I want.

Tractor is as follows
L2501 4x4 HST
R4 tires with rim guard beet juice
Front loader with quick attach bucket
Block heater
3rd function valve
Hydraulic front blade
6ft box scraper

$23602

Is that a fair deal or no? Also someone in my other thread said I should get at least two rear remotes? What does that mean?

Purchased a 2015, L2501 HST Lease return (purchased last Nov) with 26 hours on the clock. Added a New BH77 Backhoe, 3rd Function Kit (Land Pride) LA525 Loader with a 66" Quick Release (skid steer) Bucket, R4 Tires, Optional Telescoping 3 Point Stabilizers (found on the Grand L's)
The Dealer, Dolk Tractor, Rio Vista CA, installed the BH, Loader, & 3rd Function Kit then serviced the tractor (50 hour done early) prior to delivery.
Total cost after rebates and before CA Sales Tax was $24,000.
The tractor was considered new by Kubota and qualified for 60 month 0% financing. The factory warranty started the day I bought it.

For what its worth I highly recommend this tractor, based on the time I have owned it, Nov 2015. The 25 HP engine has not been an issue even when pulling ripper teeth through hard rocky soil. Avoiding the higher cost and maintenance of the DPF setup is also nice.

Damn, how much did they come in at originally or did you show up and pay cash?
Originally they were asking $18060. But another dealer 2 hours away offered it to me over the phone for $17720. So I got the dealer I bought from that's about 20 minutes away to come down from $18060 to $17770. No cash that was financed for 6 years at 0% interest.

Tommy,
Is this dealer in Kalispell? I think they are known to be a bit high. I am looking at a unit and indications are that I can buy it far cheaper some distance away.

Yes it is. I'm a super greenhorn and don't know much. Just don't wanna get taken advantage of. Any other dealers worth checking out in our neck of the Woods?

I gotta be honest, I first laughed when I saw the engine. After shopping around, Premium and Economy lines... I just can't justify the extra 5 grand for bells and whistles that dont matter to me. The DPF is a horrid thing, just pick a color, search the forums, they all have issues. EPA lists 25hp and under as exempt from the stringent emissions.

The 2501 is basically my tractor on steroids. Id rather have 35hp, but thats only for a bigger hog, nothing else really. Im too hung-up on loader specs, but slowly realizing my LA352 has yet to honestly dissapoint me.

The numbers in this thread have me really considering the L2501. 18,000 is what I was looking at on a used Massey 1540. Never see anywhere near 0% on a used machine.

My 2015 L3301 HST 4x4, quick detach FEL, and 1260 LandPride was 20,400. actually cheaper then the Mahindra and LS tractors I looked at first thinking I couldn't afford a Kubota. lol

Bought my new L2501 HST with QA FEL, loaded AG tires, 5' brush hog and 5' box scraper for $18,999. OTD including tax brought it to $19,579. It seemed like a decent price to me but I am interested in how it compares to others.
