L2501 - New delivery

I hope that I dont jinks my new tractor by bragging on it but I really like it. I have 10 hours on it now and the more I operate it, the more I like it. In the past years Ive only owned older used tractors and most have served my purpose just fine, so Ive never had a new tractor in my life until now and this is a jewel.
Im amazed at the power, and efficiency of the 4wd. They have come so far with the design of tractors these days. I use to have a L245 2wd and the difference is night and day, and not just between the 2 and 4wd drive but they are so much better in design, weight distribution, power, etc...
I cant believe the amount of control I have with this hydro trans, and Im very glad I got it rather than gear driven. I dont care for the noise of the trans when under a load but if thats the worse thing that I have to complain about, then I can live with that.
Thanks for all the help and advice that I was given before purchasing this tractor.

Sounds like a nice machine - most everybody that buys a 2501 seems to be pretty happy. I was skeptical at first of an L-sized machine with only 25HP, but it seems to be fine. Keeping just under the emissions limit lowers the price and increases the reliability of the 2501. Congrats!

I too have a L2501, just shy of 10 hours. I do love mine too. I was so proud of it the other day, had this huge rock in the bucket I was moving to a drainage ditch and I had to stop by the house to show the wife. LoL
But true this thing can do whatever I need. The hydro whine doesn't really bother me, or I'm just okay with it. Congrats on yours.

Thanks for the replies. The dealership could very much improve on the smaller maintenance items entailed with issues such as greasing, proper tire fluid level and pressure (pre-delivery inspection), etc..., that is probably being performed by a young trainee without much care to detail but all in all, satisfied with this unit and its capabilities thus far and looking forward to many hours of trouble free use.

Congrats. I got my 2501 in june of last year and now have 154 hours on it. Its the first tractor I have owned and I absolutly love it.
