L2501 branch stuck in tire

Don’t make fun of me haha! My very first full day operating my new L2501. I was brush hogging and on my last pass of the day I hit a stump with my front left tire.
Immediately after I ran it over I heard a hissing noise. I stopped and was able to remove one part of it which stopped the hissing. I still have a small piece of the stump left between the rim and tire. But it doesn’t seem to be leaking air. Trying to figure out what to and how to fix it without taking it back to the dealer.

Ugh.

Well, you'll have to break the tire bead to clean out the junk. No need to take it to a dealer. Get the wheel off and you can try breaking the bead yourself or just take it to a garage/tire shop.

you could use your front end loader to take the weight off the tires. Let the remainder of the air out of the tire and use a pry bar and a pair of needle nose pliers and push the tire back a little bit and use the pliers to pluck out the wood. If this works all you gotta do is air up the tire and go back to work.

The worst case has has been stated it’s to remove the tire and take it to a shop where they will break it down clean out the wood and put it back on.

I’ve had that happen twice. I took it to the local tire shop and had them pop the bead and clean everything, then reseat it.

It sucks. The only good thing is you don’t need a Jack to take the front tire off. Lol

If you have a loader remove the wheel block the axle up. Remove the valve core from the stem, turn the loader bucket as if you are dumping place the wheel on a flat firm surface carefully lower the buck down and only contact the tire you will be able to break the bead and clean it. I have done this with many of tires normally with tractor at idle and standing on right side at the loader control so I can see the tire and not hit the rim with the bucke.

That is a good way to do it with the tractor. FWIW I have done it with a board positioned as a ramp right to the edge of the problem rim laying flat on the ground and run my jeep up on it. Definitely take the v. stem out or depressurize it.

OP - don't feel bad, that goes in the "stuff" happens category! In my case, I got cocky and flattened an old chicken run and took 3 large nails in the front tire after I got it. Now that was dumb

I have a B3350 and if I have a problem with my front tires I take it to Les Schwab Tire. My valve stem was leaking and they replaced it with a brass valve stem. Cost $00.00. They have never charged me for any small tire repair tractor or truck.

Get the front tires foam filled. I did on both my tractors 20 years ago after both got front flats soon after delivery.

Front tires are small and not that expensive to foam fill, at least compared to rear tires...would do it again in a heartbeat.

On my smaller BX I did the rears too, after the first puncture when they were filled with WW fluid. The B2910 is still WW fluid in the rears, and I hope I never get a puncture on that one.

Where do you get tires foam filled.

I got mine foam filled at a large tire repair place that often repairs industrial and Farm equipment tires.

If you tell them the tire size they can give you the price per tire.

My place only foam filled tires once per week, and you had to leave them there for a day for the foam to cure. This was the same last year when my son in law got the tires foam filled on his BX23S at the same place.

Edit: this place was about 45 minutes drive from mine, but the result was well worth it.
