Hi all, first post here. I've searched the forums and can't seem to find a direct answer. I have a 2022 l2501 with an la525 loader and a bh77 backhoe factory installed. I would like to add two rear remotes to be able to control the new offset ditch and Bank flail mower I just bought. My plan is to mount a two spool manual valve on my roll bar and using two hoses with quick connects hook into my power beyond for my backhoe to feed the valve. Obviously I'll only hook up to them when I'm using the mower otherwise I'll loop the hoses back to themselves when not in use. The link below is the valve that I bought from some hydraulics. I just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly that what I'm trying to do will work. Hydraulics are definitely not my specialty. Thanks for any information you can give.

I guess what I'm really asking is if I connect the inlet side of the monoblock valve to the pressure side of the power beyond and the outlet side of the monoblock back to the return side of the power beyond will it cause any problems? Will I still be able to raise and lower the three-point hitch? Will my loader still operate? There is a power beyond option on the monoblock but I'm not sure how I would go about that.

Close but no banana. You can lash something along those lines together that will work but its not according to Hydraulic Hoyle. Here is the correct plumbing and how Kubota does it with the factory remotes:

  1. Purchase the power beyond sleeve for that valve and install it in the N port
  2. Remove the hose that is currently connected to the backhoe quick connect from the coupler but leave the coupler in place. Now connect that hose to the P port on the new valve.
  3. Next use a new hose to connect the N port on the new valve to the quick connect for the backhoe
  4. Run a second new hose from the T port on the new valve back to tank. There are a couple ways to to do that but I will leave that for follow up
Your new valve is now fully functional and totally independent of the backhoe, its a permanent part of the tractor, and your backhoe works just as it always did.

I just put together a nearly identical paackage for a man eith sn older L and backhoe. The only difference is tge valve was mounted on the loader post (see top picture)

I am currently doibg one with the valve on the fender (second picture)

I think I'm following what you're saying. My question would be when the backhoe is disconnected (which is about 80% of the time) how will I make the valve still function so that I can operate implements on the three-point? As far as"return to tank" how do you usually go about that? I've never done tractor hydraulics before. Is there a plug someplace I can remove that is a common place? Sorry to be a pain this is all brand new to me. Thank you very much.

You take the backhoe off just as you do now. Plumbed this way the valve dont know or care if its there or not.

Tank return is typically done by adding a tee on the hydraulic outlet block under the right floorboard. However I will be making some adapter plates for the OEM return port under the seat. Lot closer and gives you a neater installation.

I appreciate the help, I think I've got an understanding of what needs to be done now, just ordered some fittings and another hose. Will report back after installation, fingers crossed it all goes well. Thanks a ton!

You are welcome and one more conment. You will probably find the hose going to your backhoe is not long enough to reach your new valve. The end fitting on that hose is a JIC-8 female swivel and you can extend it with a JIC-8 male union and a short 3/8" hose with JIC-8 female swivel ends.
