Check your dip stick real close to see if its dropping say after 4 hours of run time. Clean up the flywheel housing from the clutch inspection plate the best you can. Most guys use a steam/hot water heater with 1500-2000 psi. Add Florescent dye to the engine oil and run at least 15 minutes and shoot the housing with a black light using an inspection mirror visible to the front side of the flywheel to crankshaft. I suspect you will find the rear main seal leaking as the source. If this is the case the seal will have to be replaced because the clutch lining will get contaminated and slip and burn up the flywheel face and pressure plate assembly. Post some photos so we can see exactly where the leak is coming from if not the rear main seal. It sounds like a serious repair and the sooner the better for your sake. ;)

Can the cover be removed to observe conditions while the engine is running? You might be able to see the source or sling path such at the rear main seal or if the oil is running into there from a different place.

If I remember correctly the oil pressure passage through the block and head is also on that same side.

lol.. i had trouble taking plate off and i scraped silicone off it like it was put there to seal. somebody before i came along prolly noticed oil coming out and sealed it with silicone to hide it. lol... o well im gonna start taking this thing apart and change the seal. from what i read its about a 5 to 6 hour job for somebody that does it everyday so i should be busy for couple days. haha. glad the grass finally slowing down here. thanks for all the help. glad i found a place i can come ask questions. im sure the local star equiptment is getting tired of seeing my number pop up on their caller id. ha. have a nice day. if any tips and tricks i should know about while taking this monster apart i would appreciate the tips.thanks again..

YES ................... TIP ................. be sure to mark the flywheel bolt hole with the crank, you can shoot paint in a hole to mark it, so you get it back in the proper place. The flywheel can bolt to the crank in ANY position so be sure to mark it if you have to take it off for the rear main. ;)
