Hi all, recently purchased a l2350 from the original owner, with 570 hours. Since the fuel gauge wasn't working I yanked the cowling off, and saw lots of rust from mouse piss.

Fuel tank sending unit is very rusty and coming apart. Looking in the exploded view, it looks like the fuel tank and sending unit are considered 1 unit, and for the small sun of $1400!. Has anyone else run into this, or found a solution for a replacement? View attachment 46652 View attachment 46652

You are right. That didn't make a bit of sense. It took a little digging in illustrated parts but I found it under electrical system/switch
31331-31202 unit $130.30
36330-75310 gasket $3.74

I found those prices online at Messicks Kubota parts.
You should go smack whoever told you to buy the tank.

Perfect! Thanks for finding that. It's not that I couldn't use a stick to check the level, but it's a nice tractor and I like everything to work like it did from the factory, lights included.
