I have split the tractor and removed the clutch, Ordered 2 plates, throwuot bearing, and pilot bearing and turning the flywheel. Now I am wondering about diassembling the clutch cover, and pressure plate without mounting it on the dual stage clutch exclusive tool and getting it back together without the clutch center tool. Is it possible or do I need to go out an buy the two tools? Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Yeah, this subject has got my attention, too. I have a dual stage clutch in my B9200. I'd like to know everything that's needed just in case.

I wonder what happined to rustyoed?

Wonder if he got his tractor back together?

Hey all
Well something did not go well since the clutch does not disengage when I push the clutch in. I can see the pressure plate retract away from the clutch plate but it isn't enough for the clutch to completely disengage. I have adjusted the pedal linkage as far as I can as well. The only thing I can figure is to adjust the release lever bolts so that the release bearing contacts it sooner when you push the clutch pedal. If that is the case then having the dual stage clutch exclusive tool would have come in handy.
I was able to disassemble the clutch assembly without it by squeezing it together with nuts and bolts passed thru the assembly. and I got the tractor back together using a come along to pull the two halves together. Regardless I have to split the tractor again which was not hard but time consuming and extra time I do not have.

Its a lot of years since I had to replace a two stage clutch but from what I remember, the kit was held together by 3 bolts which had to removed after lining up and bolting the whole thing to the flywheel. This was on a MF with back hoe and front loader,a poor mans JCB, boken down in a field , we forgot to take out those bolts and the damn thing would not work.Fortunately we realized what the problem was and even more fortunate was the fact that we manged to remove them without splitting the whole thing again.

SUCCESS!
I split the tractor and removed the clutch assembly and went back to the book and saw that I had the PTO clutch plate in backwards. I put it all back together and it works fine now. Did it all myself in 8 hours and without the tools. So glad I had the book though. Sure is nice to feel the tractor jump when I let the clutch out.
