A friend is looking to purchase an L210. It has 700 hours. I have two questions for the forum please. The tractor seems to be in quite good condition all around for its age, 1970.

pressing the clutch all the way down does not completely disengage the disc, therefore it's hard to get it into gear. What is likely wrong and is it adjustable? Also it appears to have the shortest throw on the shift lever that I have ever experienced. It seems the same for all speeds forward and reverse. Once it's in gear it does not pop out of gear but it just seems to be such a short throw. Is this just the condition of the beast?

There is some adjustment in the linkage.
if that doesn't do it, it will need split and new clutch disk, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and Pilot bearing needs to be installed.

DO NOT face the flywheel.
