Full disclosure: I'm a new tractor owner and need some help. I just bought a 1989 L2050 and I'm replacing all the fluids. The manual shows that it needs "gear oil", but for the life of me I cannot figure out where it gets added/changed. Does anyone have any experience with this model tractor?

Use Kubota UDT or a good quality compatible fluid for all of the "gear oil", which is better known as hydraulic fluid.
You need to get the OPS manual and the WSM (aka service manual) to get the exact location of all fluids.

Typically there is 3 drains on the main sump (transmission and rear end) and three drains on the front axle if its a 4wd, none on 2wd.
