L185 connecting rods

I bought a L185 from a friend who had it partly torn down. He miss placed the rod caps and bolts and cannot find them. SOOOO, I need two caps and assume I will need the entire rods. Aren't they machined as a unit?? Any ideas of where to get a decent deal. Online they go for $90 a rod and right now i need something less expensive considering I still need to get rings, bearings and maybe a few more things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you will have to buy complete rods (new or used). You cannot mix and match rod caps (well you could I suppose if they were really close and you were going to re-size them anyway, but you'd have more than the price of a used connecting rod in them.).
