I've been looking all over online for some rear ag tires and I can't find anything that is exactly the right size. I see some that appear to have tires pretty close to the original ones on them. Does anyone know where I might be able to get them? I'm no tire expert so if another tire size might work, I'd be open to that too. Thanks!

Google BKT tire dealer near Murray, Ky.
You should be able to find somebody not too far away.
BKT tires are made in India, and are made for tractors.
I have a set of their ag tires, and they are good quality.

The only thing that's become hard to find from the l175 days to today is some of the tread patterns of turf tires they used back then. As far as sizes go i think pretty much everything is still available. What is the tire size you are having trouble finding?

The size isn't so much the issue as it is finding something that resembles the original look. Also, from what I read it calls for 8.4-24 on the back. Will 8.3-24 work?

8.3-24 will fit your rims and should be almost exactly same diameter. Diameter does not really need to be that precise unless it's also a 4wd model.

Most 8.3-24 tires are in an 'ag' / R1 pattern. There is technically a lot of variation in tread between different R1s because of the shape and angle of the tread bars.

The only thing that might be a little more annoying to find is 8.3-24 turf tires. I didn't see any pics of L175s with 8.3-24 turfs as it seems most of them that had turf tires had 16" rims. But here's an example of a turf tire of that size on a Cub Lo Boy. If your tires don't look like this you should have it pretty easy.
