L175 Engine serial number location?

As a follow up to my earlier post… I’m looking for the engine serial number on my ‘73 L175 (tractor serial number is 10570 for what it’s worth). I looked for the engine serial behind the fuel pump on the block where it was supposed to be and the only number I found was 743cc4k2. Local dealer told me that’s not it. I don’t see any other numbers anywhere on it. Is that actually it or could it be somewhere else?
