Your going to get the same answer that is been the normal answer to this question.
Almost impossible to find any of the original shafts or parts for that system.
And the ones that I have seen are worn out and usable.

They even abandoned and obsoleted the original shafts early on, as the failure rate was to high.
There was a replacement setup that was larger and more robust, but that failed also, and was also obsoleted.

If this setup is similar to the one used on the B5100 tractor, I was able to make a sleeve that just slides over the male splines in the front of the crankshaft, and then transition to a 5/8" drive for a hydraulic pump. A shrink disc anchors the sleeve over the splne; it's been in service for almost 10 years w/o any issues.

This is similar to what I was looking for…

what I don’t understand is how the shrink disc over the sleeve you made grabs onto the splined shaft.. you didn’t split the sleeve you made so that it can compress around the shaft?

I understand what you did I think I just don’t understand how it works.

A little more explanation would be helpful, but I believe you have answered my question.

Look at the picture on the paper, it's split.
The other way to do a retro fit is to bolt the flange to the crank pulley.

thank you I misinterpreted your drawing. Both options are similar to what I figured had to be done. You could probably hand make something too. That would engage the lines. It’s just not the most convenient location.

All right, thank you very much. You’ve been very helpful. I’m sure I’ll have more posts related to my l175..

I’ve played with it a little bit, but now it’s time for her to do some work. I’m gonna do some brush hogging weather, depending.
